Women have helped build our great Nation through their leadership in every aspect of American life. They have andvanced the great promise of our country and made American better and stronger. Through vision and determination, countless women across our country are seizing the chance to the dreamers amd risk-takers.
I commend the members of the Technical Women's Organization and all those who live and work by the principles of excellence, integrity, teamwork, and personal responsibility. Your dedicated efforts help strengthen your community and contribute to the success of our Nation.

The History of TOEFL
TOEFL is a test which evaluated the English language ability from non-native speaker. The test is needed by most university and several entrepreneur to make sure that the employee and student are able to face the cultural changing challenge. The test is created by applicative linguistic centre and developed by Educational Testing Service.
History recorded that United States of America had a tragedy called The Great Depression. In the era of 1920’s and 1930’s, America’s economic shocked by European country that blocked the product for America. Meanwhile, European country was a strategic partner for US. United State began to rise in 1930’s when FD Roosevelt was The President of United States. At that time America’s had a father of Economy named Adam Smith. United State economy recovers until the Second World War is beginning, so that US can win the World War part 2. Generation after the Second World War became most prosperous generation in America. That generation is referred to as a generation of Baby Boomers. People which is called as Baby Boomers generation now 45 -70 years old. There are some people at that way like Bill Clinton, George Bush Jr., Madonna, Hillary Clinton, and Clint Eastwood.
At that time the US imperialism spirit, but looking for the damaged causing by world war, they looking for rearranges strategy to spread out to other country. Most American argued that doing colonialism at that time isn’t need any gun power but do all the things behind the table. One of the product models of the new American colonialism is TOEFL. Therefore, TOEFL is continuation in Indonesian with English Language Proficiency Test as a foreign Language, not a second Language, or first language.
